Job posting should appear online right after you've made them live in your manage ads page. In order to get to the manage ads page, log into your account. You should also receive a confirmation email once you've posted and activated your job. If you think there is a problem, feel free to contact our customer service department

How do I edit, delete or deactivate a posting?
You'll need to log into your account and choose "edit job listings" under "Manage Job Listings." This will bring you to a list of your job postings that you can edit or deactivate.

How do I renew a posting for free?
An email reminder will out 5 days prior to the 30-day expiration. All you need to do is log in to your account and go into "Manage Job Listings". You can extend your online posting there for free.

I placed a help wanted ad in one of the MaineJobs.com newspapers. Is it also on MaineJobs.com?
When placing an ad with the newwspaper, you are given the option to have the same ad appear online at MaineJobs.com.

How do I submit an event listing?
To submit an event for the MaineJobs bulletin board, click on the "Post your event" link in the Bulletin Board section of the MaineJobs.com homepage then follow the instructions on that screen.

How do I place a job posting in a specific category?
When entering job postings, you can choose as many many job categories as you wish. Follow the instructions on that page to learn how to select more than one category.

Does MaineJobs send me one bill to pay for my print and online advertising?
Billing methods vary due to the products, but there is no case in which you would receive multiple bills. You should receive only one bill, either from the Portland Press Herald / Maine Sunday Telegram, the Kennebec Journal, the Morning Sentinel, the Lewiston Sun Journal or MaineToday.com, depending on your representative. However, if you used the Post-A-Job tools to place an ad that appears only online, your credit card will be billed directly by MaineToday.com.

How do I place a print classified ad online?
All print ads have the option of appearing online. You must specifically decline that upgrade when placing your help wanted ad through the Portland Press Herald / Maine Sunday Telegram, Kennebec Journal, Morning Sentinel or Lewiston Sun Journal.
